Welcome to Cougar Day 2025 — your official invitation to discover the path that awaits you at Coastal Bend College!
This open house event is designed for prospective students, new students, returning students, dual credit students, and their support systems to experience firsthand what makes CBC a place where opportunity meets purpose. Whether you're a first-time college student, a parent, a returning learner, or simply curious about what we offer, Cougar Day is the perfect opportunity to learn, engage, and connect.
From hands-on career and technical demos to inspiring student panels and guided tours, Cougar Day is filled with activities that highlight the academic programs, support services, and campus life that define CBC. You’ll have a chance to meet faculty, chat with current students, enjoy live entertainment, play games, and sample some local bites — all while discovering how CBC can help you achieve your goals.

Cougar Day will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Coastal Bend College Main Campus in Beeville, Texas. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM at the Gymnasium
Yes, registration is encouraged so we can prepare welcome materials, t-shirts, food, and reserve your spot for sessions. You can register here or by scanning the QR code on event flyers.
Absolutely! Cougar Day is designed for students and their support systems—parents, guardians, siblings, partners, friends, teachers, high school counselors, staff, and administrators—everyone is welcome!

We’ll have a LIVE virtual streaming option for some sessions. Be sure to register to receive a link and access details.
At this time, transportation is not provided by CBC. We recommend carpooling if possible. Parking on campus is free for the event.
